In the evening of November 5, 2017, ASG patrol officer McLean was on patrol in a residential community of south Richmond, VA. When at around 8:30 p.m. she noticed 6 juveniles acting strangely around a new model SUV. After speaking to these persons, their stories didn’t add-up. One of the juveniles then attempted to flee in the vehicle, but was stopped by the officer, at which time, three male subjects then fled on foot. Once local police arrived on scene, it was determined the SUV in question had been stolen recently from a car dealership.
Thanks to the alertness of this officer – this stolen vehicle was recovered. The investigation is still pending on further suspect charges. Great job to Officer McLean for a job well done!!
